Korroflex gains IS0 14001 Environmental Certification

ITW Korroflex’s European manufacturing site in Shannon has recently been audited by the BSI and awarded the ISO 14001:2004 certification.

Gurpreet Pawar, parent company Performance Polymers Europe’s Marketing Executive told us “This Environmental Management System (EMS) is a tool that allows ITW Shannon to identify and control the environmental impact of its activities, products or services, and to improve its environmental performance constantly.  In addition, the certification also means that the EMS of the factory where Korroflex products are made is systematically assessed. This certification to ISO 14001:2004 is part of Korroflex’s commitment towards maintaining the highest possible EMS standards and as part of a major global chemicals business we have a very strong commitment to ensuring we comply with all environmental as well as quality standards.”
